A Collaborative Visit of CAS Delegates to Sri Lanka
A delegation from the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, featuring Dr. Yawei Wang and Dr. Binghui Tian, visited Sri Lanka from the 23rd of January 23 to the 8th of February, 2024. They engaged in discussions with various stakeholders including the Ministry of Water Supply (MoWS), Ministry of Health (MoH), University of Peradeniya (UoP), National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB), Board of Investment (BOI), Central Environment Authority (CEA), Office of the Chief Secretary North Central Province, among others. The visit aimed to review the progress of the JRDC and planned actions for 2024, reinforcing the commitment to a long-term collaboration between China and Sri Lanka.
