National Meeting of the APN project

The national meeting of the APN project on “Integrated assessment of existing practices and development of pathways for the effective integration of nature-based water treatment in urban areas in Sri Lanka, the Philippines, and Vietnam” was successfully held on Sep. 26, 2022 at the Auditorium of the JRDC with the participation of more than 100 participants from different related esteemed organizations.

 

The meeting was held to make awareness of the project findings, make national awareness of Nature-based Solutions, share knowledge, form a network of Nature-based Solutions, provide research opportunities for Scientists, and implementation initiation by policymakers. The programme consisted of presentations and a panel discussion. It was a golden platform for policymakers, academics, researchers, students, and the public to share their experiences on Nature-based Solutions (NbS).
